Fresh Figs are Back! Which means it is again time for this delicious and simple Spanish appetizer.  Figs throw a LOT of juice when cooking, so in addition to what is stated in the recipe, after cooking I spooned the extra juice from the casserole and reduced itn on the stove before pouring it back over the figs.  In the notes, Kat rhetorically asked why fig season must be so short. One word: Pears.
