Wet Wednesday. Repairing aquaculture's Achilles' heel

WET WEDNESDAY. There is an important future to oceanic and near shore fish farming but we are definitely still on a learning curve. One of the challenges is that the fish most preferred in the marketplace are at the top of their food chain. University of Maryland research, including that of grad student Aaron Watson, is demonstrating that vegetable based proteins can be used to feed high value fish. // Not the only issue by a long shot, but very important research.
